Before You Order — Important Information

PimpMySpace wallplates are 3D-printed specifically for your order based on the design, switch type, and color you select. Because each plate is made to order, we are unable to accept returns. Please take a minute to verify your selection before checkout.

1. Aesthetic Use Only — Safety Notice

These decorative plates are designed for aesthetic use only. They are NOT safety-certified electrical components and should not be relied on for protection against shocks, heat, or other electrical hazards. Always use them in combination with properly certified electrical hardware installed by a qualified electrician where required by local code.

2. User Responsibility

By purchasing this item, you agree to install and use it responsibly, according to the instructions provided and your local electrical code.

3. Switch / Outlet Type — Verify Before Ordering

Look at the wall switch or outlet you're replacing. Count the positions and identify each one:

  • Toggle — flip up/down lever switch
  • Rocker — flat paddle switch ("decora" style)
  • Duplex — two round outlet openings stacked vertically
  • Blank — solid surface, no switch hole

Match the count and order to your selection. Example: a single plate covering one toggle next to one outlet = "1 Toggle 1 Duplex" (gang count = 2).

4. Gang Count

"Gang" = the number of side-by-side switch / outlet positions on your wall box. Common: 1-gang (one switch), 2-gang (two), 3-gang, 4-gang. The product Type option encodes both the gang count and the switch kinds in each position.

5. Color

We display each color on a rendered preview of your selected type. The actual printed PLA may look slightly different due to monitor calibration, room lighting, and subtle PLA batch variation. If you're unsure about a color, order a single-position sample first.

6. Production and Shipping

Production: 2–7 business days. We ship from Canada via standard courier. If production runs longer than 7 business days for any reason, we'll notify you by email with an updated estimate.

7. Exchanges and Refunds

Because we 3D-print on demand for each order, we don't accept returns. We offer exchanges within 7 days of delivery for manufacturing defects only.

Eligible for exchange:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Shipping damage (report within 7 days, with photos)
  • Wrong item shipped by us

Not eligible:

  • Wrong type or color selected by the customer
  • Change of mind
  • Monitor / lighting color differences
